Weather Relief Funds Available to Nonprofits Serving Tangi and St. Helena

Northshore Weather Relief Fund Grants Available
In March 2016, the Northshore Weather Relief Fund was established at the Northshore Community Foundation to support relief efforts of the local nonprofits in the Northshore Region responding to community needs to this weather related disaster. After the August flood event, the fund raised additional money and we shifted our focus to impacted areas in Tangipahoa and St. Helena Parishes.

The Foundation invites applications for its fourth round of grants for nonprofit organizations that are working in flood relief and rebuilding efforts. Additionally, organizations serving vulnerable populations affected by long-term challenges as it relates to recovery, housing and independent living are invited to apply.
