Camellia City Chicks with Checks

Camellia City Chicks with Checks (Slidell Women’s Giving Circle) is dedicated to harnessing the power of generous women to improve lives in our community. We believe we are abundantly blessed to live in the Slidell Community. We believe that to whom much is given, much is expected.

How it Works: Our members commit to donating $420 per year to the organization. We will meet quarterly to interview three local qualified nonprofits about their mission and impact on the people of East St. Tammany. At the end of each meeting we will vote to give one charity our quarterly donations. To be eligible, an organization MUST be a federally designated 501 (c)(3) charity. All donations are fully tax deductible. Funds will be collected and distributed by the Northshore Community Foundation. Receipts will be listed as Slidell Women’s Giving Circle.
