Legislators Charity Fund

The mission of the Legislator’s Charity Fund is to support legislative charity event(s) in order to fund charitable causes that serve Louisiana residents.

For years, the Annual Legislative House vs Senate Basketball Game (HOOPLA) has taken place in Baton Rouge at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC). Since our first HOOPLA in 2009, we have renovated numerous basketball courts while supporting physical fitness and encouraging recreational activities for the families of Louisiana. Our objective is to continue to enhance the lives of the people of our state and make a lasting impact in our communities. HoopLA identifies and raises money to restore community basketball courts, which are underfunded and in need of repairs. We are excited about this year’s Bash and we need your support for the Legislators’ Charity Fund to continue to be a success.
