Girls on the Run provides a 10-week, research-based curriculum to girls in grades 3-8. Led by trained volunteer coaches, it explores understanding emotions, fostering friendships, expressing empathy, standing up for ourselves, plus more topics. They provide new shoes to girls who don’t have appropriate footwear for running/walking.

Join the Girls on the Run South Louisiana Young Professionals Board (YPB) to support girls in St. Tammany to develop critical life skills and lead joyful, healthy, confident lives. YPB members actively participate in community engagement efforts such as volunteer and site outreach and sharing the organization’s mission among networks. (no age requirement, but generally 18-35)
