Cheryl Collarini Scholarship

Purpose

The Cheryl Collarini Scholarship was established in 2025 in loving memory of Cheryl Collarini, a dedicated board member of Family REACH Alliance and a passionate advocate for individuals experiencing homelessness. This scholarship honors Cheryl’s commitment to creating pathways to stability and opportunity by supporting students who have faced homelessness or extreme poverty as they pursue higher education.

Eligibility Details

The number of recipients to be awarded is determined annually. Recipients are selected from those who apply based on the eligibility criteria outlined. This is a one-time $1,000 scholarship.

  • Must be graduating high school seniors or adults who have experienced homelessness or extreme poverty.
  • Plan to enroll at either Southeastern Louisiana University or Northshore Technical Community College.
