Donna Kahl Manetta Scholarship
Purpose
The Donna Kahl Manetta Scholarship Fund was established in 2019 by former students of Slidell High School to honor the legacy Mrs. Manetta created during 35 years of exemplary teaching. Mrs. Manetta’s dedication to her community reveals a selflessness and consideration for others that is truly rare. She maintained her passion and enthusiasm for teaching from her first days in the classroom to her last–never dwindling and always reflecting on how to improve and meet the ever-changing needs of her beloved students. Mrs. Manetta’s impact as a teacher will forever echo in the halls of Slidell High and the Slidell community. With the establishment of this scholarship, she will continue to be a blessing to the students she loved so much.
