Purpose

Established in 2025, the Massey Educational Scholarship was created to provide financial support for educational opportunities to students in Tangipahoa Parish ranging from ages 4 through 25. It supports learners at every stage — from early education to college and beyond — helping them grow, achieve, and give back to their community. Through this scholarship, the Massey family hopes to inspire a lifelong love of learning and a brighter future for generations to come.

Eligibility Details

There are three different groups to choose from, depending on the age group of the applicant. Scholarship awards are available for up to $5,000 per child and are based on the total tuition and required fees for the upcoming school year. Award amounts may vary depending on the documented educational expenses submitted with the application, while the following criteria must be met:

  • Current student within Tangipahoa Parish
  • Student plans to attend a private/parochial school, college/university, or technical school.
