Notes for Education Northshore Scholarship
Purpose
The Northshore For Education Northshore Scholarship Fund was created to provide scholarships to students attending a public college/university to support their academic and social development through music education and the performing arts. The goal of the Fund is to foster and build students’ musical talents as they pursue a higher education.
Eligibility Details
The number of recipients to be awarded is determined annually. Recipients are selected from those who apply based on the eligibility criteria outlined. The award is a one-time $1,000 scholarship.
- Students pursuing a degree in music performance or music education

Valerie Peck is attending LSU and majoring in Music Performance. Her future career goal is to become a performer and music teacher in the hopes of inspiring younger musicians.
