Pat Brister Legacy Scholarship

Purpose

The Pat Brister Legacy Scholarship was established in 2021 in honor of the late Parish President, Patricia Brister.

Eligibility Details

A Scholarship Review Committee will select from those who apply based on the eligibility criteria outlined. The award is a one-time scholarship.

  • Female
  • Graduating senior of a St. Tammany Parish public high school
  • Demonstrated record of academic achievement
  • Outstanding service to the surrounding community
  • Noteworthy achievements
  • Two letters of recommendation from current teachers, administrators, or coaches and/or a recent/current employer highlighting the student’s service and character

Previous Recipient

Emma Franzo

Miss Franzo completed an impressive 310 hours of community service during her high school career. She served as the President of the Key Club, Co-Vice President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is also involved in several other extra-curriculars and service opportunities. In attending the University of Alabama, this scholarship will provide Emma the next chapter she needs to succeeds her goals.
