Summers Legacy Foundation Opportunity Scholarship
Purpose
Through the generosity of the Summers Legacy Foundation, the Northshore Community Foundation is able to award opportunity-based scholarships to graduating high school seniors residing in St. Tammany Parish who are facing challenges in their pursuit of higher education. The Summers Legacy Foundation Scholarship Fund was created in 2023 in collaboration with the Northshore Community Foundation to award three students from St. Tammany Parish public schools up to $5,000 each to overcome their unique challenges as they pursue college/university.

Previous Recipient
Grace Green
Miss Green is a recent graduate from Northshore High School. Her extracurricular activities and awards include Honor Roll, Soccer and Track & Field MVP, Student Council, National Honor Society, BETA Club, School Ambassador, among several other areas of involvement. She is attending Louisiana State University for Nursing, to eventually reach her goal of becoming a CRNA.
