Scholarships
Tulane Legislative Scholarships
Purpose
State Representative Mark Wright’s District 77, Senator Sharon Hewitt’s District 1, and Senator Patrick McMath’s District 11 Tulane Legislative Scholarships are facilitated by the Northshore Community Foundation. This is a merit-based scholarship, with additional consideration given for demonstration of leadership, community service, extra-curricular activities, and financial need.
Eligibility Details
Tulane University’s scholarship department requests all students interested in applying for this scholarship submit a completed Legislative Scholarship Program Disclosure Form. For further instructions on this process click here.

Previous Recipient
Blake Babin
Senator Hewitt’s Tulane Legislative District 1 Scholarship winner went to Salmen High School and was named student of the year. Babin is the youngest heart transplant recipient in the state and attends Tulane for pre-med to ultimately become a pediatric cardiologist.
